Its currency is the Moroccan dirham(abbreviated MAD in FX) and the Bank Al-Maghrib is Morocco's central bank (www.bkam.ma). In the country some banks define its fixed deposit account products as Depot a Terme (Term Deposit) and many bank websites are written in the french language. CIA.gov website indicates that its inflation estimate for the country was 1.2% in 2012 and 0.9% in 2011.
